I find the best time for newborn sessions is 1-2 weeks after birth. We can pencil something on the calendar and then alter as needed based on when baby arrives. This is not a rule and just a suggestion.
what is a good time-frame to do the shoot?
The $250 retainer secures your booking. 3 days before your session the balance is due
WHAT DOES a retainer mean?
No, I'm sorry but pets are not allowed in the studio😿
can i bring my pets?
Great question! Check out my What to Wear Guide! You may also find it helpful to browse my galleries and Instagram page for inspiration. My studio is a white and bright vibe. I find whites, neutrals (greys and tans) and pastels to look the best!
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Please come prepared for multiple feedings and diaper changes. More often than not babies need a "snack" or extra feeding to help sooth them to sleep.
If siblings are included in the shoot, I recommend we do family and sibling shots first then a parent/partner/grandparent/nanny can leave with the sibling(s) so we can focus on the baby in a calm environment.

My style is natural and classic and I don't work with themes or props. I like your child to be the star of the show! I do have newborn outfits, hats, headbands, wraps, blankets and bowls that you will have access to!

WHAT IF SOMEONE IS SICK?
I only do newborn sessions at my studio in Fairfield, CT. Outside of my studio I am strictly a natural light photographer and do not shoot inside people's homes. The studio provides controlled lighting, temperature and access to all of my adorable outfits, headbands, wraps and blankets.
